Just got home from seeing Little Shop of Horrors at the Pines. This production was totally amazing!! The cast was awesome, great music, so creative & fun! The JCCT is a small community theater that certainly belies it’s name, producing high quality performances that will leave you wanting more. The cast tonight was professional, extremely talented and gave so much life to each character. I say BRAVO to everyone involved in this production! (And the dinner provided by the Pines was excellent as always!). Thank you all for a memorable evening.
Took the grandkids to see this tonight. We all loved it. They enjoyed seeing people that they went to school with in the play. Great play.

JCYAT has provided such a wonderful experience for my daughter. She has found something she loves to do. Being on stage has opened up a door in her personality that she discovered in her time with JCYAT. Being on stage, and the instruction given to her has built her confidence and self-esteem. She has been given a chance to shine her light, and I’m very thankful for that.
JCYAT has helped enhance our daughters’ social skills. We have also seen our girls’ confidence and belief in themselves blossom and strengthen. They aren’t afraid to try new things anymore.
JCYAT is a year-long gift for Jackson County. Passionate, talented, and tireless leaders direct a versatile and unique cast of varying ages and abilities that consistently flourish on stage. JCYAT is the perfect place for young people who have a love of theater.
Participating in JCYAT has given my son a greater sense of confidence, a broader vocabulary, has sharpened his reading skills, and it has introduced him to a lot of new friends! Every time he has participated in a show he has enjoyed every moment from helping backstage to actually being out front as an actor. He’s sad every time a play has to end and looks forward to auditioning for the next! Our family is very thankful for JCYAT!
At the age of 10, Bridget found her passion for theatre; it brings a twinkle to her eye and a flutter in her heart like nothing else! I’m so thankful to JCYAT for promoting her love for theatre and giving her opportunities you just don’t find in rural Indiana!
Alyssa really enjoyed the JCYAT summer workshop! She had fun and learned something new each day; she gained confidence and grew out of her shell by the end of the week! JCYAT is an excellent program that Jackson County is fortunate to have!
Saw my second show with JCCT on Friday – excellent! I’ve seen my share of regional and beyond theatre, and our local talent rivals and in some instances, overtakes what I have seen elsewhere. From the quality of the performances, to the crew work, sets and music – you leave each performance thoroughly satisfied! The Theatre Shows are small and intimate and historic in value, the dinner theatre is a meal that is enjoyable and well served! Take in a local show – you can only leave joyful, and waiting for the next show!
